About this book

Women Around the Messenger by Muhammad Ali Qutb tells the stories of the remarkable women among the Companions.

The book includes the Prophet's ﷺ wives and daughters — Khadijah, Aisha, Hafsah, Umm Salamah, Fatimah — as well as Sumayyah, the first martyr, Asma bint Abi Bakr, Umm Sulaym, Nusaybah bint Ka'b and many others. Each chapter shows their faith, knowledge, courage, generosity and contributions to the early Muslim community.

It is especially valued by girls and women looking for role models, but its stories inspire everyone.
